An encyclopedia, not a course

Most AI guides are read once and forgotten. This one is built to be looked things up in. Sixty chapters are organised by the job you need doing — understand a letter, compare two offers, write the difficult message, build your first spreadsheet, record a family story — so you open it when a real task appears, find the page, and close it again.

What you receive

AI Made Useful — 445-page PDF, the designed reading edition with 60 chapters across 13 parts.

Who it is for

Written primarily for adults 50+ who want plain explanations and something practical to try. Complete beginners of any age are equally welcome. No coding, no jargon, no class schedule, and nothing to keep up with.

What it is not

This is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Google, Meta or any other tool provider, and it does not include a subscription to any AI service. It does not provide personalised medical, legal or financial advice.

This expanded website edition develops material from Not Too Old for AI and retains substantial shared content, with revised lessons and six additional chapters. If you own the original, please review the additions before buying.
